Thank you to all who attended the HRA AGM yesterday evening

All office bearers were re-elected to their position and we thank them for continuing in their positions

Thanks too for all our wonderful volunteers who continue to staff the gallery and to those that work in the background maintaining our computer hardware and software, providing event support and maintenance, helping with audits, preparing print media, looking after the website and facebook pages and all the other tasks that make it all work...it is a team effort and it is very much appreciated.

It has been a good year again for HRA with a very successful Cardwell Art Prize that is now an established art event in our region. Artists from the group have been well represented as exhibitors and prize winners across the region. Our artists met with the Governor of Qld to look at our artwork inclusions along the foreshore...we have an artist member who is Citizen of the Year 2014 and we continue to work with our community and artists to add to life here in Cardwell by the Sea.

We have a lot to be proud of... as a small group we really do achieve some amazing things - well done all!

Going forward...

preliminary date for our Gallery Christmas Shopping Night...  Dec 11th 6pm and Jane will advise of our Christmas Lunch arrangements in coming weeks. We will as usual have our "stupendous Christmas Hamper" raffle... donations as always will be gratefully received...
