Mez Carle

Artist

Mez has been an artist for most of her life.

She began her career in leatherwork, making handbags and wallets and selling them to customers in Sydney

She then went on to a career in pottery while living on the sunshine coast. Here she exhibited in galleries and gift shops and attended markets in Brisbane for almost 20 years.

Now her passion is painting, mostly in mixed media and acrylic. Her love of nature is reflected in her painting.

Since leaving the Sunshine Coast she has spent 10 years in Cairns and recently moved to Wongaling Beach in 2024.

She loves being close to the beach again and enjoys walking, swimming, riding her bike and loves her tropical garden. All this is an inspiration for her art.
